Club San Carlos

It was the San Carlos Academy, in honor of Don Carlos Vargas y Machuca, governor of the eastern department.

In 1864 it took the name of Club San Carlos. Several functions have had this property in the course of time. In the 1970s its second level was used as Palaces of Marriages and the first as Cubana de Aviación Office.

Currently on the top floor is the Museum of Fine Arts and on the first level the famous Oriente Gallery.
