San Severino Castle
San Severino Castle is an excellent example of the Cuban military architecture of the eighteenth century. It is considered one of the most notable Spanish American strengths is its size. It was built over 300 years ago on the west coast of Matanzas in order to protect and safeguard the trade and the inhabitants of the territory and the east of Havana from attacks by corsairs and pirates are common in the time.
