Milk Lagoon
Milk Lagoon located in the province of Ciego de Avila and 3 km from the city of Moron is the largest natural reservoir of Cuba with 67 km ². The landform has a capacity of 100 000 000 m³ of water. The inhabitants of the surrounding was named this because of the color that the water acquired by the action of wind on high concentrations of gypsum and limestone particles resting on their funds.One of its attractions in addition to the whitish color of its waters is the presence of a colony of flamingos, which makes it a natural shelter, and other species of waterfowl. Scenario of a colorful and unique aquatic carnival once a year.
