Bacunayagua Bridge
The city of Matanzas had the privilege of launching the first year of the Revolution, around 1960, the longest and highest bridge in Cuba to date.Its construction is historically linked with the road "White Way", initiated by the government of President Carlos Prío Socarrás, in order to bridge the gap between Matanzas and capital.
A total of 41 columns support the majestic Bacunayagua bridge, which eventually resulted in the most slender of the world made of concrete.
