Cuba will improve tourism infrastructure in 2010

This year Cuba will develop a comprehensive program to improve its tourism infrastructure with the refurbishment of hotels and building new ones, the opening of golf courses and increasing the variety of tourism products.
The Tourism Minister Manuel Marrero said at a summit in Beijing, capital of China, "Tourists should know that not only can enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Cuba, but also learn more the human and cultural development." The Minister stressed that despite the decline recorded last year in the global tourism market due to financial crisis, tourism in Cuba grew. Data from the National Bureau of Statistics indicate that the end of the year, the number of visitors grew 3.3 percent.
In conference to promote tourism to the island among Chinese tourists, Marrero Cruz said Cuba pay much attention to the Chinese market, which increases gradually. Currently, detailed, there are three routes to get to Cuba via Canada, Russia and Mexico, the latter is not activated due to influenza A/H1N1.
He reiterated that Cuba and the Cuban people have open arms to welcome Chinese tourists, who can enjoy the best beaches in the world, sunbathing, diving and performing other water activities, try the rich Cuban food, or attend shows typical music and dance, as are other aspects of their culture.
Tourists should know that not only can enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Cuba, but also learn more the human and cultural development, said the head of the sector on the island. To promote natural, cultural, architectural and social develop the XXX Cuba International Tourism Fair of Cuba, FITCUBA 2010, 3 to 8 May in Havana, that this time is dedicated to promoting the Russian tourist market, confirmed organizing committee sources.
The biggest event of its kind on the island will meet at its usual venue, the Morro-Cabaņa colonial fortress, and will be attended by tour operators, travel agents, representatives of associations and related organizations, and airlines.

Yeah!, I travel to Cuba some time ago and now they have more confortable hotels and beatiful places to visit.
