Playa
The name comes from Playa municipality area of beach that stretches from west to east through most of their extension along the north coast. It is located north of the province of Havana. It is characterized by residential areas (the most luxurious of the capital of the country). Among the most notable one can find the old Country Club (now Siboney) and Miramar, which are characterized by large homes and public spaces of exquisite taste and luxury. Other neighborhoods are the Kholy, Buena Vista, Almendares, Náutico, Jaimanitas and Santa Fe and others.
In the area of Miramar are located most of the embassies and consulates based in Cuba. Also we can find the National Aquarium, the Salon Rosado de La Tropical, the Navy Heminguay and the most luxurious and modern hotels in the country
